Poster of 7th edition and first titles announced

The 7th edition of Five Flavours Film Festival is held in Muranow and Luna cinemas in Warsaw, from 4th to 11th November, 2013.
This year's edition brings a strong focus on Hong Kong cinema and a new graphic design.


Focus: Hong Kong takes a deeper look on contemporary cinema from one the most densely populated areas in the world. Films from the auteur director Johnnie To, New Wave legend Ann Hui and writer-director Pang Ho-cheung are among the highlights of the section.

Besides, the competition section New Asian Cinema involves "Poor Folk" by Midi Z, whose debut feature "Return to Burma" was presented at 6th edition of the festival.

Japan cinema is represented by the cult director Tetsuya Nakashima.The retrospective of his works includes highly acclaimed titles such as "Confessions", "Beautiful Sunday" and "Kamikaze Girls", among others.

Moreover, this year's edition of Five Flavours takes a turn to a new graphic design which is based on the image of an Asian Snake and refers to the current Year of the Water Snake.
